  • Philip turned 5

Philip turned 5 on April 19th...because of computer issues I didn't get the pictures up, but I promised my mom I would.

Here is Philip, just a few hours old, and a humongous baby!!!

At a year old! He already looks like Philip!

Here he is at two and looks so grown up...of course by then he was a big brother.

At three and already two moves under his belt!

    Happy Birthday Philip!

P.S. Today is also Banner's birthday but I will refrain from putting up pictures so that it doesn't take away from my big boy!

  • We went to the fair.

Today we took the Seniors group to the fair, and since the kids don't go to school on Tuesdays they came along.  Philip wanted to ride a rollar coaster and he made the height requirement so we decided to give it a try.  He LOVED it!  He wanted the front car and so he we are on the ride.

Julia at first wanted to ride the ferris wheel (the giant wheel), but it was really windy and then she saw the "horses" (the carosel...thank goodness my prayers were answered!) and so Daddy took Julia on carosel.  Sorry I couldn't get a better picture.

Here is Philip and Daddy by the big tractor.

We had a great time, but the fair food has taken its toll on all of us...Everyone is tired and cranky :)  Fried pickles, bloomin' onion and a funnel cake!  Good thing we have the Wii fit now!

  • This morning was our Christmas Musical "An Island Christmas"  Here was our stage, all islandy  :)

Philip and Julia had a duet "Away in a Manger"  They did  so well!  Patrick played guitar and sang back up...when Daddy said the wrong words, Philip stopped the whole thing (twice!)  It ended well.  I wish I had gotten video of it, but I was directing and Patrick was playing the guitar.  They are not shy on stage at all.  I don't know if that will last, but I am grateful that they are so outgoing!

We had a great day!  We are so excited that this week will be just a little less busy with only 2 1/2 kettle days left :)
